- MEGHNA SAKORE- BORDIKAR

Empowering the girl child .

Meghna Didi Says, if you educate a man, you educate an individual, but if you educate a woman, you educate a nation. We must target the mindset of the society so the only way anything could possibly change is by constantly teaching and being a model to the kids for generations that there is no real difference between male and female and this equality needs to start from home in all aspects at they really understand the importance of treating men and women equally.

The focus should be on women’s education because the knowledge and empowerment of one woman can bring about a change in a family and even the society as a whole Women’s education is a fundamental concept of the economy and development.

Women who graduate should ensure they enter the workforce; We have conducted no off campus drives in colleges. We have been requesting IT companies to schedule campus drives in Parbhani region. Our strategy is working now hundreds of candidates got placed.

Meghna Didi says, An educated person has the ability to differentiate between right and wrong or good and evil. A person becomes perfect with education as he is not only gaining something from it, but also contributing to the growth of a society and family.

Measure Issue:

  • 1. Still too many children out of school .
  • 2. Women need to be empowered through the strongest tool Education.
  • 3. lack of interest, funds and guidance at the State level.
  • 4. Education imparts a sense of teamwork and discipline in children.
  • 5. Early youth education develops mental and passionate quality in a youngster making his/her progressively prepared to face future challenges of life.
  • 6. Their solitary want to escape the wretchedness of child labour lies in education.
  • 7. He/She has a better understanding of good and bad behavior and can judge or make decisions accordingly.

Challenge

According to the survey of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan 2013-14, 13.20 lakh children of 6-14 age group leave school every year in Maharashtra state because these students have to face all sorts of problems to get educated. Due to the pathetic conditions of deprived families, their guardians are not able to afford their school spending because of which intelligent and ambitious students get miles away from the school education.

A matter of serious concern

We found that the most important reason for boys to drop out of school was to take up jobs to supplement the family earning; for girls, it was the compulsion to participate in household work. Therefore, not surprising that the largest number of child laborers in the world is in India.

Reasons for not going to school

A larger percentage of girls than boys was not enrolled. Lower percentage of girls were founded going to high fee-charging private schools. A much higher proportion of girls.

Another reason to drop-out (environment not friendly) would have disappeared than boys dropped out of school after Class 10, after which education is not necessarily free. The most important reason to drop-out (socio-economic conditions of the parents of the children). The most important social reason to drop-out is lack of awareness of the importance of school education and of the fact that education is now a legal right. The impact of education on rural life has remained consistent since colonial days. When a village boy did well at school, he was expected to shift to a nearby town. That is where he could expect his talent to be recognized. Gradually, villages became the supplier of talent to the city. Only those who were dependent on land stayed back. It’s been common parents send their sons and daughters to towns for higher education. Lakhs of students from rural and semi-urban areas spend their youth getting coached indiscriminately for competitive entry into an ever-shrinking opportunity market. Every year, a new army of candidates for coaching is spewed out by rural schools.

Long-Term Impact

300 poor students will get major help to get education by distributing educational material project and they will also get better opportunities for higher education, the problem school drop-out will end. Being educated 300 marginalized students will set up the development of their village and illiterate parents will also get some help.

Our vision:

Sustainable rural development not possible without education.

We need to weave connect between education and rural development

Identifying education as a key to sustainable rural development

There is a need to draw up a plan to ensure that the next generation – those born after 2010 – come out of the poverty line.

Improve the quality of government schools.

Their expenditure on education and health was the main reason preventing the rural poor from emerging out of poverty
